The cool jacket is designed with a soft chin guard at the top of the YKK main zipper to protect the delicate skin under the chin. The durable fabric withstands up to 60,000 rubs, making it a reliable choice for active kids. Elasticated hems at the sides of the hood opening and reflective threads in the zipper puller at the front pockets add to the jacket's functional design. The ski jacket is designed with a safety breakaway buckle for attaching LEGO mittens or gloves to the sleeves in sizes 98-140. If the mitten is pulled at, it releases from the jacket sleeve, reducing the risk of accidents. Furthermore, the hood is detachable for safety reasons. When pulled, it relases from the jacket, instantly reducing the risk of kids being stuck on something with the hood.
